Security

Cybersecurity for Educators

Description

Educators need to understand their rights and responsibilities when it comes to access and use of student data and how to protect their own information online. Today’s students also come armed with “native” technology knowledge because they have grown up with access to devices and the Internet; however, students often do not understand all the implications of being online or grasp the value of technology for learning. This class is intended to help educators understand what they need to know about privacy and security and how to help students navigate the online world responsibly.
